Building a positive relationship with food and our bodies is key for health and happiness. I want to help you shy away from dieting and restrictive eating behaviors and help you start living your life. Let me explain. Diets tend to fit a one size fits all model, but I do not see all of my clients as a copy and paste of each other. Every bodies different and I applaud that! I do not follow a simple ‘eat less, exercise more’ approach. You may have tried to eat a certain way, cut out certain foods, or control the size of your body in the past and realized it was really hard. Or ‘fell off the wagon’. Or felt like a failure. How did this make you feel? I am assuming not so great. It likely hindered your relationship with food and your body. I would like to help you rebuild your relationship with food and be comfortable in your body. Food is social, emotional, economic. Foods are not ‘good’, or ‘bad’, food gives us life and sustenance. I would love nothing more than to help you create a positive relationship with food and trust your body, your appetite, and your worth.
